S.I. No. 191/1982 - Milk and Milk Products (Restriction of Export) (Amendment) Order, 1982.

1. (1) This Order may be cited as the Milk and Milk Products (Restriction of Export) (Amendment) Order, 1982.

(2) This Order shall come into operation on the 1st day of July, 1982.

2. The Milk and Milk Products (Restriction of Export) Order, 1964 (

S.I. No. 25 of 1964

), is hereby amended by the substitution for Article 3 of the following Article

"3. This Order shall not apply as respects articles, other than a quantity of butter in excess of 10 pounds, if the butter is packaged in quantities expressed by weight calculated in accordance with imperial measure, or in excess of 4.5 kilograms, if the butter is packaged in quantities expressed by weight calculated in accordance with metric measure, exported by parcel post or as part of a traveller's personal luggage".

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

This Order extends export licensing control to quantities of butter in excess of 10 lb. or 4.5 kg. when exported by parcel post or as part of a traveller's personal luggage.
