1.—The following subsection is hereby substituted for section 2 (2) of the Exchange Control Act, 1954, as amended by section 2 of the Exchange Control (Continuance and Amendment) Act, 1978

“(2) This Act shall continue in operation until the 31st day of December, 1986, and shall then expire.”.

2.—(1) This Act may be cited as the Exchange Control (Continuance) Act, 1982.

(2) The Exchange Control Acts, 1954 to 1978, and this Act may be cited together as the Exchange Control Acts, 1954 to 1982.
