1. These Regulations may be cited as the European Communities (Agricultural or Forestry Tractors Type Approval) Regulations, 1981, and shall come into operation on the 1st day of December, 1981.

2. The following Schedule is hereby substituted for Schedule I to the European Communities (Agricultural or Forestry Tractors Type Approval) Regulations, 1979 (

The Regulations implement the type approval provisions of Council Directive 80/720/EEC relating to the operating space, access to the driving position and the doors and windows of wheeled agricultural or forestry tractors having a maximum design speed of between 6 and 25 km/h.
