1. This Order may be cited as the Elections of Members of Regional Fisheries Boards (First Election Year) Order, 1981.

2. This Order shall come into operation on the 20th day of October, 1981.

3. The elections of members of regional fisheries boards shall first be held in the year 1981.

This Order fixes 1981 as the year in which the elections of members of the regional fisheries boards are first to be held.

I, TOM FITZPATRICK, Minister for Fisheries and Forestry, in exercise of the power conferred on me by

section 12

(5) of the

Fisheries Act, 1980

(No. 1 of 1980), and the Fisheries (Transfer of Departmental Administration and Ministerial Functions) Order, 1977 (

)), hereby order as follows:—
