S.I. No. 134/1981 - Gas Fund (Contribution) Order, 1981.

1. This Order may be cited as the Gas Fund (Contribution) Order, 1981.

2. The

Interpretation Act, 1937

(No. 38 of 1937) applies to this Order.

3. The rate at which the contribution to the Gas Fund shall be payable for the year 1981 shall be eighty-one new pence for each million cubic feet of gas sold during the year 1980.

4. Such contribution shall be paid on or before the 30th day of June, 1981 by cheque or money order made payable to the Accountant, Department of Energy, Clare Street, Dublin, 2.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

This Order fixes the rate of contribution to be made for the year 1981 by certain gas undertakings to the gas fund established under section 7 of the Gas Regulation Act, 1920.

(No. 26 of 1957) and the Energy (Transfer of Departmental Administration and Ministerial Functions) Order, 1977 (
