1. This Order may be cited as the

2. The 1st day of January, 1981, is hereby fixed as the day on which
section 5
of the
Payment of Wages Act, 1979
, (No. 40 of 1979), shall come into operation.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.
This Order appoints the 1st day of January 1981 as the day on which section 5 of the Payment of Wages Act, 1980, comes into operation.
