S.I. No. 267/1980 - Committees of Agriculture (Nominations by Voluntary Rural Organisations) (Amendment) Order, 1980.

1. This Order may be cited as the Committees of Agriculture (Nominations by Voluntary Rural Organisations) (Amendment) Order, 1980.

2. The Schedule to the Committees of Agriculture (Nominations by Voluntary Rural Organisations) Order, 1980, is hereby amended in relation to the county of Louth by the substitution, for "Farmers' Defence Association" in column (2), of "The Irish Small Farmers' Association", being the name by which the organisation is now known.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

This Order amends the Schedule to the Committees of Agriculture (Nominations by Voluntary Rural Organisations) Order, 1980 by inserting, in the case of Co. Louth, for the "Farmers' Defence Association" the name by which that organisation is now known, viz. "The Irish Small Farmers' Association".
