S.I. No. 210/1980 - Oireachtas (Allowances To Members) (Travelling Facilities) (Amendment) Regulations, 1980.

1. (1) These Regulations may be cited as the Oireachtas (Allowances to Members) (Travelling Facilities) (Amendment) Regulations, 1980.

(2) The Oireachtas (Allowances to Members) (Travelling Facilities) Regulations, 1964 to 1978, and these Regulations may be cited together as the Oireachtas (Allowances to Members) (Travelling Facilities) Regulations, 1964 to 1980.

2. (1) The Oireachtas (Allowances to Members) (Travelling Facilities) Regulations, 1964 (

S.I. No. 281 of 1964

), are hereby amended by the substitution of "£10.00 per day" for "£6.00 per day" (inserted by the Oireachtas (Allowances to Members) (Travelling Facilities) (Amendment) (No. 2) Regulations, 1978 (

S.I. No. 278 of 1978

) in Regulation 2(a).

(2) Paragraph (1) of this Regulation shall be deemed to have come into operation on the 1st day of January, 1980.

3. The Oireachtas (Allowances to Members) (Travelling Facilities) Regulations, 1964, are hereby amended as on and from the 1st day of January, 1979, by the substitution for the Schedule thereto (inserted by the Oireachtas (Allowances to Members) (Travelling Facilities) (Amendment) Regulations, 1978 (

)) of the Schedule set out in the Table to this Regulation.
