1. This Order may be cited as the

Redundancy Payments Act, 1979

(Commencement) Order, 1979.

2. The 6th of April, 1979, is hereby fixed as the day on which the

Redundancy Payments Act, 1979

(No. 7 of 1979), shall come into operation.

GIVEN under my Official Seal, this 30th day of March, 1979.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

This Order brings the

Redundancy Payments Act, 1979

into operation on and from 6th April.
