1. This Order may be cited as the

Housing Act, 1969

(Continuance) Order, 1979.

2. The

Housing Act, 1969

(other than section 11 and subsections (1) and (2) of section 13) shall continue in force until 31st December, 1981.

this 7th day of December, 1979.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

Section 11 and subsections (1) and (2) of

section 13

of the

Housing Act, 1969

are in force permanently. The remaining provisions would expire on the 31st day of December, 1979 unless continued by Order of the Minister for the Environment. The effect of this Order is to continue the

Housing Act, 1969

in force for two years ending on the 31st day of December, 1981.

HOUSING ACT, 1969 (CONTINUANCE) ORDER, 1979.

The Minister for the Environment in exercise of the powers conferred on him by

section 13

of the

Housing Act, 1969

(No. 16 of 1969) hereby makes the following Order the draft of which has been approved by a resolution passed by each House of the Oireachtas:—
