S.I. No. 379/1979 - Superannuation (Designation of Approved Organisations) Regulations, 1979.

1. (1) These Regulations may be cited as the Superannuation (Designation of Approved Organisations) Regulations, 1979.

(2) The Superannuation (Designation of Approved Organisations) Regulations, 1964 to 1978, and these Regulations, may be cited together as the Superannuation (Designation of Approved Organisations) Regulations, 1964 to 1979.

2. The organisations set out in the Schedule to these Regulations are hereby designated as approved organisations for the purposes of

section 4

of the

Superannuation and Pensions Act, 1963

(No. 24 of 1963).

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

Section 4

of the

Superannuation and Pensions Act, 1963

, provides for the transfer of pensionable service in the case of staff transfers between the Civil Service and "approved organisations" and between one "approved organisation" and another. These regulations designate the organisations set out in the schedule as "approved organisations".
