1. This Order may be cited as the Elections of Conservators (Postponement) Order, 1979.

2. The Elections of Conservators (Postponement) Order, 1977 (

S.I. No. 331 of 1977

), is hereby amended by the substitution for Article 2 (inserted by the Elections of Conservators (Postponement) Order, 1978 (

S.I. No. 302 of 1978

)) of the following Article

" 2. The elections of conservators which apart from this Order, would, pursuant to the Elections of Conservators (Postponement) Order, 1978 (

S.I. No. 302 of 1978

), fall to be held in the year 1979 shall be held in the year 1980.".
