1. This Order may be cited as the

Irish Steel Holdings Limited (Amendment) Act, 1979

(Section 2) (Commencement) Order, 1979.

2. The 24th day of August, 1979, is hereby fixed as that on which

section 2

of the

Irish Steel Holdings Limited (Amendment) Act, 1979

(No. 13 of 1979), shall come into force.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

The purpose of this Order is to fix the date on which

Section 2

(1) of the

Irish Steel Holdings Limited (Amendment) Act, 1979

which provides for the changing of the name of Irish Steel Holdings Limited to Irish Steel Limited, shall come into force.
