S.I. No. 346/1978 - European Communities (Anti-Dumping Duty on Certain Iron and Steel Goods) (Suspension) (No. 2) Regulations, 1978.

1. (1) These Regulations may be cited as the European Communities (Anti-Dumping Duty on Certain Iron and Steel Goods) (Suspension) (No. 2) Regulations, 1978.

(2) These Regulations shall be deemed to have come into operation on the 19th day of September, 1978.

2. The anti-dumping duty imposed by the European Communities (Imposition of Anti-Dumping Duty on Certain Goods of Iron and Steel) Regulations, 1978 (

S.I. No. 307 of 1978

), on goods of the description specified in those Regulations shall not be charged, levied or paid on any goods of that description which are imported into the State and which originate in South Korea.

3. For the purpose of these Regulations, the country of origin shall be determined in accordance with the rules of origin contained in Council Regulation (E.E.C.) No. 802/68

of the 27th day of June, 1968 (as amended).

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

These Regulations provide for the suspension of the application of the anti-dumping duty imposed by the Regulations referred to in Paragraph 2 above insofar as it relates to imports of certain iron or steel products originating in South Korea.
