S.I. No. 233/1978 - European Communities (Cattle Export Charges) (Revocation) Regulations, 1978.

1. These Regulations may be cited as the European Communities (Cattle Export Charges) (Revocation) Regulations, 1978 and shall come into operation on the 2nd day of October, 1978.

2. The European Communities (Cattle Export Charges) Regulations, 1975 (

S.I. No. 259 of 1975

), are hereby revoked.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

The effect of these Regulations is to revoke the European Communities (Cattle Export Charges) Regulations, 1975 with effect from 2nd October, 1978. On that date the collection of the cattle export charges become a function of the Revenue Commissioners under an Order made by the Minister for Finance under the

Finance Act, 1978

(Section 29) (Commencement) Order, 1978,
