S.I. No. 128/1978 - Milk and Dairies Act, 1935 (Sale of Milk in Borough of Dún Laoghaire) Order, 1978.

1. This Order may be cited as the Milk and Dairies Act, 1935 (Sale of Milk in Borough of Dún Laoghaire) Order, 1978.

2. The

Interpretation Act, 1937

(No. 38 of 1937) applies to this Order.

3. On and after the 1st day of August, 1978, the sale of milk is hereby prohibited in the Borough of Dún Laoghaire unless such milk is sold under a special designation within the meaning of Part IV of the

Milk and Dairies Act, 1935

.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

This Order prohibits, with effect from the 1st day of August, 1978 the sale of milk in the Borough of Dún Laoghaire unless such milk is sold under a special designation within the meaning of Part IV of the

Milk and Dairies Act, 1935

The Minister for Health in exercise of the powers conferred on him by subsection (1) of

section 33

of the

Milk and Dairies Act, 1935

(No. 22 of 1935), as adapted by Article 4 of the Health (Transfer of Departmental Administration and Ministerial Functions) Order, 1947 (S.R. and O., 1947, No. 58), hereby orders as follows:—
