S.I. No. 375/1977 - District Court Areas (Variation of Days and Hours) (No. 4) Order, 1977.

1. (1) This Order may be cited as the District Court Areas (Variation of Days and Hours) (No. 4) Order, 1977.

(2) This Order shall come into operation on the 1st day of January, 1978.

2. In this Order "the Principal Order" means the District Court (Areas) Order, 1961 (

S.I. No. 5 of 1961

).

3. The days and hours for holding the District Court in the district court area of Ballycullane shall, in lieu of the days and hours specified in column (4) of the First Schedule to the Principal Order at reference number 254 be the third Thursday in January, March, May, July, September and November at 11.00 a.m.

4. The days and hours for holding the District Court in the district court area of Bunclody shall, in lieu of the days and hours specified in column (4) of the First Schedule to the Principal Order at reference number 255 be the second Thursday in February, April, June, September, October and December at 11.00 a.m.

5. The days and hours for holding the District Court in the district court area of Shillelagh shall, in lieu of the days and hours specified in column (4) of the First Schedule to the Principal Order at reference number 266, and in column (4) of the Second Schedule to that Order at reference number 226, be the second Thursday in January, March, May, July and November at 11.00 a.m. and the second Thursday in September at 3.00 p.m.

6. Business transacted in any of the following district court areas, namely, the district court area of Ballycullane, Bunclody or Shillelagh and which is initiated and is not completed before the commencement of this Order shall be continued and completed as if this Order had been in force at the time at which such business was initiated.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

This Order alters the existing provisions with regard to the days and commencement times for holding sittings of the District Court in Ballycullane and Bunclody, Co. Wexford and Shillelagh, Co. Wicklow.
