S.I. No. 35/1977 - Maximum Prices (Pre-Packaged Coal) Order, 1977.

1. (1) This Order may be cited as the Maximum Prices (Prepackaged Coal) Order, 1977.
(2) This Order shall come in to operation on the 16th day of February, 1977.
2. (1) The maximum prices at which coal packed in a closed container or package may be sold by retail in any place in the state other than the county borough of Cork or the administrative county of Cork shall be—
(
a
) in the case of a container or package containing 28 pounds or 12½ kilograms of coal, £0.74,
(
b
) in the case of a container or package containing 56 pounds or 25 kilograms of coal, £1.44½, and
(
c
) in the case of a container or package containing more than 56 pounds or 25 kilograms of coal, a sum calculated at the rate of £2.79 per hundredweight or per 50 kilograms, as the case may be.
(2) The maximum prices at which coal packed in a closed container or package may be sold by retail in the county borough of Cork or the administrative county of Cork shall be—
(
a
) in the case of a container or package containing 28 pounds or 12½ kilograms of coal, £0.79½,
(
b
) in the case of a container or package containing 56 pounds or 25 kilograms of coal, £1.51, and
(
c
) in the case of a container or package containing more than 56 pounds or 25 kilograms of coal, a sum calculated at the rate of £2.95 per hundredweight or per 50 kilograms, as the case may be.
3. The Maximum Prices (Pre-packaged Coal) Order, 1976 (
S.I. No. 50 of 1976
), is hereby revoked.
