S.I. No. 8/1976 - Maximum Prices (Household Goods) Order, 1976.

1. This Order may be cited as the Maximum Prices (Household Goods) Order, 1976.

2. This Order shall come into operation on the 19th day of January, 1976.

3. (1) The maximum price at which a commodity mentioned in column (2) of Part I of the Schedule to this Order at any reference number may be sold in the manner specified in column (3) of that Schedule at that reference number is hereby fixed at the price mentioned in column (3) at that reference number.

(2) The maximum price at which a commodity mentioned in column (2) of Part II of the Schedule to this Order at any reference number may be sold is hereby fixed at the price mentioned in column (3) of that Schedule at that reference number.

(3) When a commodity mentioned in the Schedule to this Order is sold by retail in a manner other than that specified in relation to the commodity in the said Schedule, the maximum price at which it may be so sold shall be calculated at a rate corresponding to the rate specified in relation to the commodity in the said Schedule.

4. The maximum Prices (Household Goods) (No. 6) Order, 1975 (

S.I. No. 295 of 1975

), is hereby revoked.
