1. This Order may be cited as the

Health Act, 1970

(Commencement) Order, 1973.

2. In this Order "the Act" means the

Health Act, 1970

.

3. Sections 68 and 69 of the Act shall come into operation on the 1st day of July, 1973.

4. Section 3 of the Act shall come into operation on the 1st day of July, 1973, for the purpose of effecting the repeal of

Section 50

of the

Health Act, 1953

(No. 26 of 1953).

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

This Order brings into operation

sections 68

and

69

of the

Health Act, 1970

. It also brings section 3 of that Act into operation for the purpose of effecting the repeal of

section 50

of the

Health Act, 1953
