1. (1) These Regulations may be cited as the Central Bank of Ireland (Form of Statement of Accounts) (Amendment) Regulations, 1973.

(2) The Central Bank of Ireland (Form of Statement of Accounts) Regulations, 1961 to 1970, and these Regulations may be cited together as the Central Bank of Ireland (Form of Statement of Accounts) Regulations, 1961 to 1973.

2. The

Interpretation Act, 1937

(No. 38 of 1937), applies to these Regulations.

3. The Central Bank of Ireland (Form of Statement of Accounts) Regulations, 1961 (

S.I. No. 187 of 1961

), are hereby amended by the substitution for the matter at reference D (inserted by the Central Bank of Ireland (Form of Statement of Accounts) (Amendment) Regulations, 1970 (

S.I. No. 148 of 1970

) in Part II of the Schedule (inserted by the Central Bank of Ireland (Form of Statement of Accounts) Regulations, 1969 (

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

These regulations revise a number of headings in the annual statement of accounts of the Central Bank of Ireland so as to bring them up to date. They also insert new headings to give further information regarding the activities of the Bank.
