1. These Regulations may be cited as the Stock Transfer (Recognition of Stock Exchanges) Regulations, 1973, and shall come into operation on the 26th day of March, 1973.
2. The Stock Exchange is hereby declared to be a recognised stock exchange for the purposes of the
Stock Transfer Act, 1963
.
3. The Stock Transfer (Recognition of Stock Exchanges) Regulations, 1966 (
S.I. No. 251 of 1966
), are hereby revoked.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.
These Regulations declare The Stock Exchange to be a recognised stock exchange for the purposes of the
Stock Transfer Act, 1963

(No. 34 of 1963), hereby make the following regulations
