S.I. No. 66/1971 - Brucellosis in Cattle (Declaration of Clearance Areas) (No. 2) Order, 1971.

1. (1) This Order may be cited as the Brucellosis in Cattle (Declaration of Clearance Areas) (No. 2) Order, 1971.

(2) This Order shall come into operation on the 1st day of March, 1971.

2. (1) Such area as consists of that part of the administrative county of Offaly lying north and west of the River Brosna is hereby declared to be an area in which brucellosis is to be eradicated.

(2) A holding situate partly within the area to which paragraph (1) of this Article relates (other than a holding which is also partly situate in an area which, before the making of this Order, has been declared to be an area in which brucellosis is to be eradicated) shall, for the purposes of this Order, be deemed to be wholly within the area.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

This Order declares the portion of County Offaly lying north and west of the River Brosna to be a Clearance Area for the purpose of eradicating brucellosis in cattle.
