1. These Regulations may be cited as the Dublin District Milk Board (Levy) (Amendment) Regulations, 1971.
2. In these Regulations–
"the Board" means the Dublin District Milk Board;
"the section" means
section 41
of the
Milk (Regulation of Supply and Price) Act, 1936
(No. 43 of 1936), as amended by
section 19
of the
Milk (Regulation of Supply and Price) (Amendment) Act, 1941
(No. 11 of 1941), and
section 7
of the
Milk (Regulation of Supply and Price) (Amendment) Act, 1952
(No. 9 of 1952).
3. The
Interpretation Act, 1937
(No. 38 of 1937), applies to these Regulations.
4. (1) For the purpose of the levy payable to the Board under subsection (1) (
b
) of the section–
(
a
) the prescribed sum shall, in respect of the month of February, 1971, and each subsequent month be 2.64 pence or, as on and from the 15th day of February,1971, 11/10th new pence;
(
b
) regulation 4 (1) (
a
) of the Dublin District Milk Board (Levy) (Amendment Regulations,1970 (
S.I. No. 20 of 1970
), shall not apply in relation to any such month.
(2) For the purposes of the levy payable to the Board under subsection 2 (
b
) of the section–
(
a
) the prescribed sum shall, in respect of the month of February, 1971, and each subsequent month be 2.64 pence or, as on and from the 15th day of February, 1971, 11/10th new pence;
(
b
) regulation 4 (2) (
a
) of the Regulations mentioned in paragraph (1) (
b
) shall not apply in relation to any such month.

EXPLANATORY NOTE
These Regulations prescribe the amount of the milk levy payable to the Dublin District Milk Board by registered retailers and registered wholesalers and by certain registered producers as from 1st February, 1971.

(No. 43 of 1936), and by section 41, as amended by
section 7
of the
Milk (Regulation of Supply and Price (Amendment) Act, 1952
(No. 9 of 1952), of that Act, as adapted by the Agriculture (Alteration of Name of Department and Title of Minister) Order, 1965 (

), do hereby order and make the following regulations
