S.I. No. 75/1969 - Industrial Research and Standards (Section 44) (Children's Toys) Order, 1969.

1. This Order may be cited as the Industrial Research and Standards (Section 44) (Children's Toys) Order, 1969.

2. This Order shall come into operation on the 1st day of October, 1969.

3. It shall be unlawful to manufacture, assemble or sell a child's toy unless it complies with Irish Standard 165: 1968 (being the standard specification for toxicity and cellulosic content of children's toys declared by the Institute for Industrial Research and Standards).

4. This Order shall apply only to a toy intended for sale to the public in the State.
