1. This Order may be cited as the Imposition of Duties (No. 175) (Tufted Material) Order, 1968.

2. This Order shall come into operation on the 10th day of December, 1968.

3. The Imposition of Duties (No. 159) (Customs Duties and Form of Customs Tariff) Order, 1966 (

S.I. No. 132 of 1966

), is hereby amended by—

) the insertion in the first column of the Schedule after tariff heading number 58.04 (B) (2) of the following—

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

This Order provides for the imposition of a customs duty of 40% or 2s. 0d. per sq. yd. (full, preferential and special preferential) and 18.7% or 11·2d. per sq. yd. (United Kingdom) on certain tufted material.
