1. This Order may be cited as the

Stock Transfer Act, 1963

(Commencement) Order, 1964.

2. The 13th day of January, 1964, is hereby appointed as the day on which the

Stock Transfer Act, 1963

, shall come into operation.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

This Order brings into force on 13th January, 1964, the provisions of the

Stock Transfer Act, 1963

. The main purpose of the Act is to simplify the procedure for transferring registered securities.
