1. These Regulations may be cited as the Postal Order (Inland) Amendment (No. 8) Regulations, 1964.
2. These Regulations shall come into operation on the 1st day of June, 1964.
3. The
Interpretation Act, 1937
(No. 38 of 1937), applies to these Regulations.
4. These Regulations shall be read and construed as one with the Postal Order (Inland) Regulations, 1905, hereinafter referred to as the Principal Regulations, and all Regulations amending the same.
5. The following Regulation is hereby substituted for Regulation 5 (inserted by the Postal Order (Inland) Amendment (No. 7) Regulations, 1960 (

)) of the Principal Regulations
" 5. The poundage payable on postal orders shall be as follows
For an order for 6d.
2d.
For an order for any multiple of 6d. between 1s. and 3s., both inclusive, or for any multiple of 1s. between 4s. and 20s., both inclusive
4d.
For an order for any multiple of 1s. between 21s. and 100s., both inclusive
6d.
