1. This Order may be cited as the

Electoral Act, 1963

(Commencement) Order, 1963.

2. The 12th day of July, 1963, is hereby fixed as the day on which sections 1 and 2 and Part II of the

Electoral Act, 1963

, shall come into operation.

3. Section 3 of the said Act shall come into operation on the 12th day of July, 1963, for the purpose of effecting the repeal of the enactments which are specified in the Schedule to this Order to the extent mentioned in the third column of that Schedule.
