1. This Order may be cited as the Garda Síochána Pay (No. 2) Order, 1960.

2. The

Interpretation Act, 1937

(No. 38 of 1937), applies to this Order.

3. The Garda Síochána Pay (No. 2) Order, 1959 (

S.I. No. 146 of 1959

), shall, from the 1st day of March, 1960, have effect as if the following Article were substituted for Article 3

"3. Subject to the provisions (other than Article 4) of the Garda Síochána Pay (No. 2) Order, 1958 (

), the pay of members of the Garda Síochána mentioned hereunder shall be in accordance with the following rates and scales

EXPLANATORY NOTE.
