1. This Order may be cited as the Health (Offices) Order, 1958 (Amendment) Order, 1960.

2. The Schedule to the Health (Offices) Order, 1958 (

S.I. No. 47 of 1958

) shall be amended by the deletion of the words " Any office in a district mental hospital, other than that of nurse, deputy charge nurse or charge nurse the holder of which is required by virtue of his office to be a registered nurse " and the substitution therefor of the words " Any office under a mental hospital authority as defined in

section 3

of the

Mental Treatment Act, 1945

(No. 19 of 1945) other than that of nurse, deputy charge nurse, charge nurse, deputy ward sister or ward sister the holder of which is required by virtue of his office to be a registered nurse ".

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

The effect of this order is to exclude from the list of offices which the Minister for Health has declared to be major offices, the new offices of ward sister and deputy ward sister in the mental hospital service.
