EXPLANATORY NOTE.

These amending Regulations substitute a revised form of Balance Sheet in respect of the General Fund in the Statement of Accounts required to be furnished by the Central Bank of Ireland to the Comptroller and Auditor General.

CENTRAL BANK OF IRELAND (FORM OF STATEMENT OF ACCOUNTS) (AMENDMENT) REGULATIONS, 1959.

I, SÉAMAS Ó RIAIN, Minister for Finance, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by

section 35

of the

Currency Act, 1927

(No. 32 of 1927), as adapted by

section 11

of the

Central Bank Act, 1942

(No. 22 of 1942), and after consultation with the Board of Directors of the Central Bank of Ireland, hereby make the following regulations

1.—(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Central Bank of Ireland (Form of Statement of Accounts) (Amendment) Regulations, 1959.

(2) The Central Bank of Ireland (Form of Statement of Accounts) Regulations, 1943 (

S. R. & O. No. 94 of 1943

), the Central Bank of Ireland (Form of Statement of Accounts) (Amendment) Regulations, 1957 (

S.I. No. 86 of 1957

), and these Regulations may be cited together as the Central Bank of Ireland (Form of Statement of Accounts) Regulations, 1943 to 1959.
