S.I. No. 65/1959 - Suspension of Duty on Isinglass and Edible Gelatine Order, 1959.

1. This Order may be cited as the Suspension of Duty on Isinglass and Edible Gelatine Order, 1959.

2. The duty of customs imposed by the Emergency Imposition of Duties (No. 283) (Glue, Gelatine and Size) Order, 1952 (

S.I. No. 186 of 1952

), shall not be charged or levied on—

(

a

) isinglass in solid form, or

(

b

) edible gelatine in solid form,

which is imported on or after the 24th day of April, 1959, and before the 31st day of October, 1959.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

The effect of the above Order is to exempt from customs duty isinglass and edible gelatine in solid form which is imported before 31st October, 1959.
