S.I. No. 40/1959 - Undersized Sea-Fish (Escallops) Order, 1959.

1. This Order may be cited as the Undersized Sea-fish (Escallops) Order, 1959.

2. This Order shall come into operation on the 1st day of April, 1959.

3. The

Interpretation Act, 1937

(No. 38 of 1937), applies to this Order.

4. Any escallop which is less in dimension than four and a half inches measured across its greatest width shall be, for the purposes of the

Sea Fisheries (Protection of Immature Fish) Act, 1937

(No. 33 of 1937), undersized.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.
