1. This Order may be cited as the River Lee Hydro-Electric Scheme Approval Order, 1949 (Amendment) Order, 1958.

2. The scheme set out in the Schedule to the River Lee Hydro-Electric Scheme Approval Order, 1949 (

S.I. No. 321 of 1949

), is hereby amended by the deletion of Work No. 5.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

The purpose of this instrument is to delete Work No. 5 from the list of works approved in the River Lee Hydro-Electric Scheme Approval Order, 1949. Work No. 5 provided for a diversion of the public road over the River Dripsey on the North Bank of the River Lee.

WHEREAS under subsection (1) of

section 5

of the

Electricity (Supply) (Amendment) Act, 1945

(No. 12 of 1945), the Electricity Supply Board has submitted to the Minister for Industry and Commerce an amendment of the River Lee Hydro-Electric Scheme

AND WHEREAS the said Minister has considered the said amendment

NOW, I, SEÁN F. LEMASS, Minister for Industry and Commerce, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by

section 5

of the

Electricity (Supply) (Amendment) Act, 1945

(No. 12 of 1945), and after consultation with the Minister for Lands, hereby order as follows :—
