EXPLANATORY NOTE

This instrument revokes the Order which imposed quantitative restrictions on the importation of superphosphates, ground mineral phosphates and compound manures.

CONTROL OF IMPORTS (QUOTA No. 16) (FERTILISERS) (REVOCATION) ORDER, 1957.

The Government, in exercise of the powers conferred on them by the Control of Imports Acts, 1934 and 1937, hereby order as follows

1.—(1) This order may be cited as the Control of Imports (Quota No. 16) (Fertilisers) (Revocation) Order, 1957.

(2) This Order shall come into operation on the 7th day of March, 1957.
