Interpretation Act, 1937

(No. 38 of 1937), applies to this Order.

3. The Schedule to the Control of Imports (Quota No. 6) Order, 1934 (

S. R. & O. No. 264 of 1934

) as amended by the Control of Imports (Quotas Nos. 1 to 32) (Amendment) Order, 1939 (

S. R. & O. No. 402 of 1939

), is hereby amended by the insertion in Part 1 of a new paragraph as follows:—

"5. All articles, other than the above, which are made wholly or mainly of woven tissue and which—

(

a

) are partially manufactured articles of personal clothing, or wearing apparel, or

(

b

) are component parts of articles of personal clothing or wearing apparel."

CONTROL OF IMPORTS (QUOTA No. 6) (PERSONAL CLOTHING (AMENDMENT) ORDER, 1955.

The Government, in exercise of the powers conferred on them by the Control of Imports Acts, 1934 and 1937, and of every and any other power them in this behalf enabling, hereby order as follows

1.—(1) This Order may be cited as the Control of Imports (Quota No. 6) (Personal Clothing) (Amendment) Order, 1955.

(2) This Order shall come into operation on the 16th day of December, 1955.
