S.I. No. 65/1953 - Prohibition of Import (Dried Or Powdered Milk) Order, 1953.

1. This Order may be cited as the Prohibition of Import (Dried or Powdered Milk) Order, 1953.

2. The

Interpretation Act, 1937

(No. 38 of 1937), applies to this Order?

3. The importation into the State on or after the 16th day of February, 1953, of dried or powdered milk is hereby prohibited.

4. Article 3 of this Order shall not apply—

(

a

) to dried or powdered milk which has been treated by way of processing or the addition of any other substance, or

(

b

) in a case in which the quantity of dried or powdered milk imported does not exceed five pounds in weight.
