1. This Order may be cited as the

Vital Statistics and Births, Deaths and Marriages Registration Act, 1952

(Commencement) Order, 1953.

2. (

a

) The

Vital Statistics and Births, Deaths and Marriages Registration Act, 1952

(except section 10 thereof) shall come into operation on the 16th day of February, 1953.

(

b

) Section 10 of the said Act shall come into operation on the 1st day of April, 1953.
