1. This Order may be cited as the Letterkenny Railway Abandonment Order, 1953.

2. This Order shall come into operation on the first day of August, 1953.

3. The Londonderry and Lough Swilly Railway Company, having applied for an order authorising it to abandon the railway line between Letterkenny and Farland Point, is hereby authorised to abandon the line.

I, SEÁN F. LEMASS, Minister for Industry and Commerce, in exercise of the powers conferred upon me by

section 110

of the

Transport Act, 1944

(No. 21 of 1944) hereby order as follows :—
