S.I. No. 133/1952 - County Donegal Railways (Stranorlar-Glenties) (Abandonment of Railway Line) Order, 1952.

1. This Order may be cited as the County Donegal Railways (Stranorlar-Glenties) (Abandonment of Railway Line) Order, 1952.

2. This Order shall come into operation on the 18th day of June, 1952.

3. The County Donegal Railways Joint Committee is hereby authorised to abandon the section of railway line between Stranorlar and Glenties.

COUNTY DONEGAL RAILWAYS (STRANORLAR-GLENTIES) (ABANDONMENT OF RAILWAY LINE) ORDER, 1952.

WHEREAS an order has been made by the Minister for Industry and Commerce under

section 9

of the

Railways Act, 1933

(No. 9 of 1933), authorising the County Donegal Railways Joint Committee to terminate wholly the service of trains run over the section of railway line between Stranorlar and Glenties operated by the said Committee

AND WHEREAS the said Committee has made application to the said Minister for an order authorising the Committee to abandon the said section of railway line

NOW, I, SEÁN F. LEMASS, Minister for Industry and Commerce, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by

section 110

of the

Transport Act, 1944

(No. 21 of 1944), and of every and any other power me in this behalf enabling, hereby order as follows :—
