S.I. No. 101/1949 - Prohibition of Import (Cheese) Order, 1949.

1. This Order may be cited as the Prohibition of Import (Cheese) Order, 1949.

2. The

Interpretation Act, 1937

(No. 38 of 1937), applies to this Order.

3. The importation into the State on or after the 14th day of April, 1949, of cheese is hereby prohibited.

4. Article 3 of this Order shall not apply to cheese manufactured in France.

5. The Prohibition of Import (Cheese) Order, 1935 (

S. R. & O. No. 643 of 1935

) is hereby revoked as on and from the 14th day of April, 1949.
