1. This Order may be cited as the

Local Government (Sanitary Services) Act, 1948

(Date of Commencement) Order, 1948.

2. the Act (except section 34) shall come into operation on the 1st day of April, 1948.

S.I. No. 72 of 1948.

LOCAL GOVERNMENT (SANITARY SERVICES) ACT, 1948 (DATE OF COMMENCEMENT) ORDER, 1948.

WHEREAS by

section 3

of the

Local Government (Sanitary Services) Act, 1948

(hereinafter called " the Act ") it is enacted that the Act (except section 34) shall come into operation on such day or days as may be fixed therefor by order or orders of the Minister for Local Government either generally or with reference to any particular purpose or provision and different days may be so fixed for different purposes and different provisions of the Act

NOW THEREFORE, the Minister for Local Government, in exercise of the powers so conferred on him, hereby orders as follows :—
