S.I. No. 71/1948 - Emergency Powers (Kerosene Rationing) Order, 1943 (Monthly Ration of Domestic Users) Order, 1948.

1. (1) This Order may be cited as the Emergency Powers (Kerosene Rationing) Order, 1943 (Monthly Ration of Domestic Users) Order, 1948.

(2) This Order shall come into operation on the 1st day of March, 1948.

2. In this Order the expression " the Principal Order " means the Emergency Powers (Kerosene Rationing) Order, 1943 (S. R. & O. No. 272 of 1943).

3. This Order shall be construed as one with the Principal Order.

4. This Order is supplemental to the Principal Order.

5. For the purposes of the Principal Order, the ration of a domestic user of kerosene during the month of March, 1948, or any subsequent ration month, shall be one gallon of kerosene.

6. The Emergency Powers (Kerosene Rationing) Order, 1943 (Monthly Ration of Domestic Users) (No. 2) Order, 1947 (S. R. & O. No. 315 of 1947), is hereby revoked.
