1. This Order may be cited as the Offences Against the State (Scheduled Offences) (Cessation) Order, 1948.

2. It is hereby declared that the offences which are for the time being scheduled offences for the purposes of Part V of the

Offences Against the State Act, 1939

(No. 13 of 1939), by virtue of the orders specified in the Appendix hereto shall, upon the making of this Order, cease to be scheduled offences for the purposes of the said Part V.

The Government, in exercise of the powers conferred on them by sub-section (3) of

section 36

of the

Offences Against the State Act, 1939

(No. 13 of 1939), hereby order as follows :—
