1. This Order may be cited as the Transport of Wood Fuel Order, 1947.

2.—(1) It shall be lawful for any person in the course of a merchandise road transport business carried on by him to carry wood fuel in any area in the State without a merchandise licence.

(2) In this Article, the expressions " merchandise licence " and " merchandise road transport business " have the same meanings as in the

Road Transport Act, 1933

(No. 8 of 1933).
