S.I. No. 40/1946 - District Court (New Areas) Order, 1927 (Variation No. 94) Order, 1946.

1. (1) This Order may be cited as the District Court (New Areas) Order, 1927 (Variation No. 94) Order, 1946.

(2) This Order shall come into operation on the 1st day of March, 1946.

2. The district court area of Ardee, created for the purpose of civil proceedings by the District Court (New Areas) Order, 1927, (

S. R. & O. No. 103 of 1927

), is hereby varied by the removal therefrom of the district electoral divisions of Clogher, Collon, Dromin, Dunleer, Dysart and Mullary, all in the County of Louth, and, accordingly, the Schedule to that order shall have effect as if amended as follows :—

3. (1) Business transacted in the District Court which is initiated before the date on which this Order comes into operation and is not completed before that date shall be continued and completed in like manner as if this Order had not been made.

(2) For the purposes of this Article, business transacted in the District Court shall be regarded as being initiated on the day on which the summons, warrant, process, or other originating document relating to it is issued.
