S.I. No. 331/1944 - Control of Imports (Quota No. 9, Twelfth Period) Order, 1944.

1. This Order may be cited as the Control of Imports (Quota No. 9, Twelfth Period) Order, 1944.

2. The

Interpretation Act, 1937

(No. 38 of 1937), applies to this Order.

3. The period beginning on the 1st day of January, 1945, and ending on the 31st day of December, 1945, is hereby appointed to be the twelfth quota period under the Control of Imports (Quota No. 9) Order, 1934 (

S. R. & O. No. 288 of 1934

) (which relates to any completely or substantially assembled motor car chassis without a body or body shell attached thereto).

4. Sixty articles to which the Control of Imports (Quota No. 9) Order, 1934, applies shall be the quota in respect of the said twelfth quota period.

The Government, in exercise of the powers conferred on them by the Control of Imports Acts, 1934 and 1937, and of every and any other power them in this behalf enabling, hereby order as follows:—
