2. One and a half per cent. is hereby appointed to be the appointed percentage for the purposes of
section 16
of the
Exported Live Stock (Insurance) Act, 1940
(No. 25 of 1940).

THE EXPORTED LIVE STOCK (INSURANCE) ACT, 1940 (APPOINTED PERCENTAGE UNDER SECTION 16) ORDER, 1941.
WHEREAS it is enacted by subsection (2) of
section 16
of the
Exported Live Stock (Insurance) Act, 1940
(No. 25 of 1940), that the Minister for Agriculture shall before the appointed day, and may thereafter whenever and so often as he thinks fit, make, after consultation with the National Executive of the Irish Live Stock Trade, an Order appointing a specified percentage to be the appointed percentage for the purposes of the said section, and every Order made under the said subsection (2) shall remain in force until a subsequent Order under the said section is made and comes into force
AND WHEREAS by the
Exported Live Stock (Insurance) Act, 1940
(Appointed Day) Order, 1940, (
S. R. & O. No. 264 of 1940
), the Minister for Agriculture appointed the 2nd day of September, 1940, to be the appointed day for the purposes of the said Act
AND WHEREAS the
Exported Live Stock (Insurance) Act, 1940
(Appointed Percentage under Section 16) Order, 1940 (
S. R. & O. No. 263 of 1940
), was made, under subsection (2) of section 16 of the said Act, on the 9th day of August, 1940
NOW, THEREFORE, I, SÉAMAS O RIAIN, Minister for Agriculture, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by subsection (2) of
section 16
of the
Exported Live Stock (Insurance) Act, 1940
(No. 25 of 1940), and of every and any other power me in this behalf enabling, do hereby, after consultation with the National Executive of the Irish Live Stock Trade, order as follows, that is to say :—
1.—(1) This Order may be cited as the
Exported Live Stock (Insurance) Act, 1940
(Appointed Percentage under section 16) Order, 1941.
(2) This Order shall come into operation on the 13th day of January, 1941.
