S.I. No. 258/1935 - Bacon and Pigs (Quota) (No. 8) Order, 1935.

1. This Order may be cited for all purposes as the Bacon and Pigs (Quota) (No. 8) Order, 1935.

2. The

Interpretation Act, 1923

(No. 46 of 1923), applies to the interpretation of this Order in like manner as it applies to the interpretation of an Act of the Oireachtas.

3. For the purposes of the Bacon and Pigs (Regulation of Export) Order, 1933, the following provisions shall have effect, that is to say—

(

a

) the month of August, 1935, shall be a quota period;

(

b

) 43,876 hundredweights of bacon shall be the bacon quota in respect of the said quota period;

(

c

) 1,433 pigs shall be the pig quota in respect of the said quota period;

(

d

) 64 hundredweights of pig carcases shall be the carcase quota in respect of the said quota period.

Section 2

of the

Agricultural Products (Regulation of Export) Act, 1933

(No. 26 of 1933), and of every and any other power me in this behalf enabling, do hereby order as follows:—
